Celia Paterson BSc (Hons); MSc, ITEC; MHCPC; MCSP

Graduated from Edinburgh University in 2000 with BSc (hons). I worked in London in healthcare PR but then found my calling to Physiotherapy.

I qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist obtaining pre-registration Masters in Physiotherapy in 2005 from Queen Margaret University College, Edinburgh.
I completed several clinical rotations within the NHS (Acute and Primary Care Trusts) and Private; gaining valuable experience in Outpatients (MSK & Neurological), Stroke Medical & ITU wards, Orthopaedics and Oncology in a variety of hospital and community settings. I specialised in Elective and Trauma Orthopaedics as a Senior Physiotherapist. My experiences have provided me with a holistic approach to my treatments. They also highlighted the importance of reducing soft tissue tension to improve body biomechanics for recovery and rehabilitation. This led me to to gaining my sports massage ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage to compliment my treatments. I also have extended qualifications in acupuncture (AACP Foundation Course 2017) and JEMS Movement Art (part 1).

I worked with the fantastic team under Troy Bennetts at Total Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic (now Carter & George), Amersham for over 9 years.
