Treatment

-
You will only be assessed and treated by me, Celia Paterson. I am a qualified Physiotherapist who is registered with the Health Professional Council (HCPC) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapist (CSP). My practice will be in line with their codes of practice.
-
Your consultation will be within the privacy of a treatment room. After examination I will explain the outcome of the assessment and the proposed treatment plan, including any risks. You may decline any of the treatments proposed without prejudice.
-
Payment will be due and taken on the day of treatment.
-
You must give me a minimum of 24 hours notice of cancellation of appointments. This can be done either by phone or email. If not, you will be liable to pay 50% of your appointment fee. This is to cover the cost of the room hire and potential lost earnings.
-
I am a private physiotherapist and do not have a contract with the NHS. I do not deal directly with insurance companies. However, I am happy to provide a receipt which you may be able to use to claim for any reimbursement.
-
Children under the age of 18 will be required to have a guardian present at the appointment. When there is an occasion this is not possible, there will need to be written consent prior to the appointment from the legal guardian. This will ideally be in the form of an email or a written note.
